On thursday I'm playing in a lustria campaign game (Woo! I hear you cry!) I'm using Black orcs and I'm facing 3 armies, 2 Dwarf and one wood elf (new rules)each of 1000 points...

So what I hear you cry, well the twist is this, it's a seige and they are all hiding in a castle, in lustria...

Good news for me is I get 6000 (that's right SIX THOUSAND) points on my army (twice the size of the beleagured forces) Now that's nice but I have no experience of breaking into castles. I'm going to use 6 seige towers (600 points in total) and 5, possibly 6 giants... is there anything else anyone can suggest?

Well, I won.... the wood elves tree kin unit decided to sally forth through the door without closing it behind them! My general with a unit of 20 black orcs and battering ram then charged the tree kin who fled and were chased back into the castle, said black orcs then went on the rampage while the rest of the army caught up with them

Thats awesome, you must have one large force of orcs to play a 6,000 pt game.

How'd the giants work? and towers? lacking cannons orcs don't have a whole lot to tear down walls with.

I don't know what I would do with my Vampires Counts

I had 6 seige towers (scratch built special like!) and 4 giants ;D
The seige towers were great... recommend them to any attackers in a seige
and rock lobbers, I only had 3 but 6 would have been better (landing a rock on the goblin hewer destroying it utterly on turn 1, nice)
the giants were average, only got to the castle on turn 4, and then proceeded to yell and bawl!!
But yeah, fun... I'd like to play another big game (i did have to borrow 20 arrer boyz, 30 boyz, a giant, a rock lobber, a bolt thrower and 20 black orcs, the rest were mine) lots of fun
