god i hate the GW site. I found the Lizardmen battalion once and it had all the components in it listed, but i cant find it again. Can someon link me to the page where it shows what the lizardmen battalion has inside it?

Remember though, the lizardman battalion doesn't contain a commander, so you'll have to buy one of those on top as well as the lizardman army book, making the minimum purchase around 70.

It makes a fantastic starting base from which to build your army around as it is pretty versatile.

I like both of them...in fact, the Warhammer batallions are awesome across the board.

The Lizardman one is just the best core starting force.

4 medium starting units and a hardcore Special.

You could split the Empire units up a bit to boost their numbers...but you've just not got the same variety.
