Default Warhammer 7th edition

I know not whether this has been posted already, but warhammer 7th is out next year. It is like 40k 4th, a tweak with combat tweaked very slighlty, and magic getting a tweak - making it harder to cast spells to take magic away from being dominating.

Apparently every army book from dwarves onwards is geared to this edition, and yes, we will be seeing 100% re-release of all fantasy armies, books, models etc.

That sounds very unlikely to me... the core WFB rules do not need tweaking to any real degree.

Alleged by the redshirt, was that this has been confirmed for a long time on the net

So it was alleged that this was confirmed on the net? Or it was alleged by the redshirt and confirmed on the net?

In which case, it fits in well with the existence of ET's and Elvis's continued survival. Could we have some evidence please?

i have heard rumours that the 6th edition may get a renewal like 40k, where the base of the game system isn't changed as such, more likely that it would be better explained, plainer words.

There has been a lot of odd gaming situation that have arisen (can multiple shots be fired at a charging unit for example, some say yes some say no) since the release of the 6th book, and they''ll need to fix those as well, and they'll need to make them official, in one book.

The annuals and the faqs are there for that reason, but there has been so many A&Q now that warhammer needs a new book with the revised rules.

i am looking forward to it, but I have a feeling GW is taking its time on this project, as nothing is wrong with the game at the moment.

Never believe a Redshirt. I've had them tell me Power Fists strike using Initiative, and Khorne Berzerkers always get +D6" to their movement. :

I'll take take stormtroopers over redshirts any day...

I seriously hope this isn't true but the release of the new Dwarf book makes me think otherwise.

Really nothing is wrong with WHFB and after 5 years they've FINALLY finished releasing all the army books. They should give it a rest for a bit, maybe think about making some new stuff.

I wouldn't be adverse to an updated rule book that includes all those FAQ's and things, but really it needn't be a whole new edition calling for a comlete and total overhaul of ALL the army books again...

Finished?

With no Dogs of War or Chaos Dwarf books?

And a Warmaster Araby list which could be used as a basis for a Fantasy list (maybe as an addition to DoW)?

Personally, I'd love to see a DoW list advancing the Tilean political situation, with Remas rising to 'unite' the rest of Tilea (and having a go at the Estalians, too) into a new southern Republic...

Yeah, I've been playing Rome: Total War...
