I don't mind what day, personally. I'll probably drive from Shrewsbury anyway (only 3 hours)

I'll stick it in the diary.

Why not bring her along? Going to Warhammer World, and Bugman's, would certainly be different to any other birthday she's ever had I'd wager

@ Dark Mewsevelt: can you get it any cheaper by booking in advance on virgintrains website, or whoever it is?

Actually, upon further investigation, it's cheaper to get the bus to Manchester first, because hotels are needed anyway to arrive there not at noon at the very earliest. :P

1) Glasgow -Manchester on Friday, 8am-2pm or 11am-4pm, cheapish booked in advance, about 7-15 I think
2) Either go to Nottingham and stay in hotel there or stay in Manchester until morning (best because...)
3) Manchester-Nottingham same day return train about 20-30 or so AFAIK, maybe a little higher. Arriving for about 10.
4) Taxi from Nottingham Station to Warhamster World
5) Reverse, tab on another 5-20 for the return from manchester to Glasgow

Max 70 there and back for decent times instead of arriving late.

I might try and get a new army done for then, it'll give me a reason to work fast!

Or I could get my Titans done if you think Apocalypse/megagamage would be fun...

Okay, having checked up on Warhammer World in Nottingham, it appears the weekend of the 1st/2nd August will be "Open Gaming" weekend. I'll be checking up to see if there are any entrance fees etc.

There are not usually any entrance fees (charging entry to enter a shop is not a good way to run a business after all), but I do believe there are fees to hire the big tables in the Gaming Hall.
