Well, I think it's now the case that barring a sudden Lottery win I'm out, so, maybe next year.

Apologies gentlemen but due to a distinct lack of finances I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out of this one.

Maybe next time.

Nope. My financial issue is a result of my bursary not having come through yet and my landlady being a fething whore and almost certainly not giving us our deposit back unless the place looks like we've had professional cleaners in.

And mine is the fact I've been unemployed for 9 months, with little working experience, no way to get references thanks to an unfair dismissal, and a new government who wants to slash every single incentive given to companies to get people in positions similar to mine back into work coupled with an abundance of jobs needing a drivers licence for no apparent reason. :P

Many jobs I apply for, I know that I'm basically not the guy for the job. I try anyway, but the number I can actually go for is tiny. Spec letters get no replies, I've reached interview stage twice out of about 100 applications, I've not even got a response about 70 times, and have had a handful of phone interviews.

Oh, did I mention some idiot who surprisingly wasn't me managed to lose both my birth certificate and most recent high school qualifications meaning I need to spend about 60-90 to replace them if I ever need them, which is in fact five weeks money for me because I currently have only 20 a week and I'm one of the ones lucky to have that much after I pay my rent and so on.

And to think Daily Fail readers think that "vouchers" are some sort of magic solution to stop benefit fraud and save the government money. Tell me, considering the fraudsters will just sell the vouchers, and that the vouchers later have to be redeemed for cash from the government how does that solve anything? Will all the buses accept a voucher for a return ticket? Will all the shops take them to let me buy some cola while I have to go into Johnstone for up to three hours? Will Greggs let me exchange a voucher for a sausage roll for lunch? Will people not look down on me when I produce bits of paper that don't have the queen's head on them to make transactions? Will those vouchers let people who smoke buy smokes? Will they let single mothers buy a toy to keep their child happy for just that brief moment of peace they desperately need?

Rant over. Come to think of it that might be better in the vent thread...

FT can pimp you out for a charge... then you will be able to afford it. Seriously, Saturday night in Notts will pay for itself ;D
