I know that you are new, but did you read the stickies on this board? There is an article all about biovores. You could also have done a search for "biovore". Here's what I found on the first page alone:

http://forums.tauonline.org/index.ph...c,86046.0.html

Yea I came up with the same post you did. The question is how do you use these and in all the post I read there was nothing about movement or well anything about the biovore itself. I don't have a codex for these guys. Just bought them off a friend. The only stuff I could find about biovore is there sporeminds not the biovore it's self. So sorry if it looked like a lazy question.

Thanks,
Obon80

Making one sentence posts about units that have already been talked about, is not the best way to get information. If you want to get a good answer to your questions, you need to post as much detail as you can, and ask the right things instead of "is this unit good?". If you are planning on playing tyranids I'd suggest getting the codex though. I don't have one, so I can't really tell you all that much about the biovore, but when I played them in 2nd they were basically walking artillery.

I wouldn't use Biovores in 5th Edition. The fact that your Spore Mines may potentially give up a KP to the enemy is just ridiculous. Obviously, not every game is going to be Annihilation, but, considering lists are normally worked out before the mission type is rolled, it's better safe than sorry. :-\
