Hey, I'm looking for some armie tactics. Got any ideas for me? And if you couldn't guess by the board we're on, I'm asking about a Nid army. Thanx

I'm new to the game and have only purchased the new "Battle for Macragge" set. I have the ability to purchase many new models at my own whim. I currently fight Eldar and Spacemarines. Any Idea's?

Yup. Fight battles and find your playing style. This will better enable us to help you out.

Read the "Be not the prey" and the "Be the predator" topics. These will answer a lot of your questions.

Well a good army i can recomend that is fairly cheap would be 20 stealers and 2o gaunts each divided into 2 squads some biovores and a tyrant(sniperstyle).

Extrelemy effective gaunts are the meat shield for the stealers coverfire is biovores tyrant is heavy ap.

6 str 8 shots can pretty much take down a vehicle as well as a ml.

How many other hq's can have that power in shooting for a hq.

Try some Boivores and use them against the tanks.

biovores have low str they are basically a whirlwind now

Biovores aren't that great against atnks, they used to be the equivalent of Whirlwinds, but not anymore. Against armour, I'm not sure I would try and use a biovore, you might get lucky with an acid mine, but it won't be easy.

with the extremely low str of the bio acid mine, even with the 2d6 ap you'd be hard pressed to glance a rhino.

Although I find the main problem is actually hitting with Biovores.
