Is this a decent list? I want to use it as a kill anyone kind of list, but my main foe (kanmuX on tau online) is a hybrid tau player. Please critique my choices and the possible effectiveness of this list. Please, tell me it's strengths (if any) and weaknesses. Thank you.

Cheap, minimal Flying Tyrant. He can be pretty good, but since you have 8 points to spend, I'd give him some upgrade. I'd suggest Acid Maw, but I think that puts you points over, and I don't have my Codex. other than that, he looks like he can tear through a Tau gunline very easily.

Good. I run my Warriors in a similar fashion, but I don't believe in Barbed Stranglers in Warriors, especially without Toxin Sacs. I'd drop that in favor of a Venom Cannon.

Good. These can deal good damage.

Good. These are devilishly quick, so make sure you have the Synapse to keep up, which is flying things. things.

I've never been too much of a fan of Scuttlers, but whatever floats your boat. I still prefer Extended Carapace and the first choice on any upgrades for Genestealers.

Ripper Swarms can be pretty good, as they don't rely on Synapse. Though, the amount of high strength in a tau army weaponry worries me with these, as they just get instant-deathed.

Good. These are generic flying Warriors, and deal good damage... If they get there.

Depending on if you stick them together, I'd drop the Synapse on one and give it Warp Scream. -1 can make all the difference sometimes, and the Synapse form the other one prevents it from being Instant-deathed.

Well, you seem to have a good amount of models, backed with a solid Synapse base. I wouldn't worry about your Synapse much. You're anti-tank is pretty lacking, but the only way to really solve that is to grab a SniperFex. You're only big weakness I see is your forces will be split between the winged things and the not winged things. That, and you're only MC is your Tyrant, so all kinds of Anti-MC weaponry will be pointed his way, instead of being split between a Carnifex with guns and a Winged Tyrant.

Other than that, I think it looks pretty good. The only real way to test it's effectiveness is to playtest it, so go do that and tell us if it works!

This I need to worry about. Hmm.. what to do.. well, plasma can work quite nicely on him, but i'm afraid i'd be a bit short on close combat.

You saw how easily they got owned by pulse rifles last game, but I guess I have other gribblies to watch out for.

Those never made it to my lines last game, but now I guess I have something to worry about. Or not. I'll definately have a nice, fleshy meatshield of Human Auxiliaries.

Haha, Hormies. That was quite memorable, that time out of desperation that I just charged two Fire Warriors and killed about one or two of your guys. Anyway, they do concern me, especially with the upgrades, but i'll find a way. Trust me.

Haha, the exact same squad of Genestealers as before. Scuttling.. hmm, okay. But that's just going to be getting them in rapid fire range faster..

That entire squad can be insta-killed by a blast template from a Hammerhead, which i'll try my best to include in my smaller list.

Those worry me, since they reached my lines last time and cause some heavy havoc.. until my stealth squads saved the day. Why not give them a better armor save so they at least get to take a save against my stealth team's burst cannons?

Those concern me too, especially since Warp Blast isn't healthy for vehicles. However, since i'm going to be getting disruption pods, it's going to be a bit hard to hit me from a distance. Good luck.

I actually look forward to fighting this. Anyway, a brief overview:

Strengths:

- Lots of little gribblies to throw at me.
- Powerful attacks on zoanthrophes.
- Very nicely rounded for almost any opponent.

Weaknesses:

- A lot of those gribblies don't find submunition shots/template weapons healthy.
- The winged warriors might not reach my lines.
- A little too generalized.
