Default Some recommendations on Tyranid A - Zs

Some of you may of noticed this. Well I've begun the Tyranid one below.

Please use the Browser Search/Find function to find the term your looking for. The Find/Search Function can be found by going to Edit > Find (in IE) or by pressing [ctrl]+[f] (also in IE).

Could the Mod make a start on this. Include brief descriptions of the units/weapons.

I understand that the new Codex is still unavailable to most of us.* Many of the the things listed here may very well change with the new 4th Edition Codex.

I also know that Phage, Farseer Tyross and others are already working on this.* This is not meant to step on their work.* It's just meant to help.

This was more of an exercise to help me understand Tyranids a little better.* Not as much to add here in the Tyranid A to Z due to the lack of any known Tyranid Language and/or words.

Let me know what I missed. Here goes.

Acid Blood: A Tyranid with Acid blood can auto-wound non-tyranid models in base to base if killed.
Adrenal Glands: A additional organ that can be put on some Tyranid genera that increases WS and Initiative.
Andy Chambers: The author of Codex Tyranid Supplement (2nd Edition) and Codex Tyranids (3rd ed.).
Barbed Hierodule: This 540 point model is armed with two Bio-Cannons (Str 10 AP3) Assault 1, Ord blast.
Barbed Strangler: A mid-ranged Bio-weapon that fires a seed-pod that rends its prey by very rapid growth.
Battlefleet Bakka: Relief force from the Segmentum naval base that stopped two Hive Fleets
Beardifex: Wargamer's take on the new Fourth edition Tyrannid Codex version of the Carniflex.
Bio-Cannon: Large Tyranid bio-weapon with a 48.0" range. Used by larger Bio-constructs

The Hive Tyrant that carries this weapon is constantly under the effect of the Catalyst Hive Mind power.* If it passes a psychic test at the start of the assault phase it can extend this ability to all Tyranid models within 6.0"

Nice one.

You may want to include a Bonesword, or just wait until the new codex comes out and use the description in there; It is bound to change.

But just in case- *gets out 2nd ed codex and looks at description*

Bonesword: A Tyranid bio-weapon that grows over time, and can release a surge of psychic energy when stimulated by the user

EDIT: By the way, you spelt Carnifex wrong
