Default Baby Powder And Terrain Don't Mix

Following a suggestion by GW in the latest issue of White Dwarf, I used baby powder to to add some snow effects to my terrain pieces. What an utter disaster. By garage smells like a nursery and the powder does not stick at all to the glue. Everytime you breath a white gust of "snow" billows off my terrain pieces. Stick to the white stuff made by Woodland Scenics. After you apply the first layer of snow just use a thinned coat of Elmer's with water to seal it to the surface. Learn from my stupidity.

I can see ho that could be annoying. Just turn the fan on, and say it's a blizzard. Not sure what you could do about the smell though. ;D

I love the blizzard idea.

As for the "powder fresh" smell, you could always start up a daycare centre in your garage. If that's not an option, just start storing your sports gear out there. Either the gear will start to smell better, or your garage will take on that patented "locker room" smell.

All in all though, thanks for the warning.

Cheers!

For snow, use white paint mixed with PVA and icing sugar
