Default "Dragons Theeth" Tank traps, and a bit about how I did them *Updated*

Here's tutorial about how I did them: http://tauonline.org/scenery_tanktraps.php

I finished these "Dragons Teeth" tank traps some days ago, though I made the the "teeth" a half a year ago I never finished them. So when I found them last week at the bottom of a box I thought I finish 'em off. They are made out of pink foam, and the reinforcement bars are bits of paperclips glued on with PVA glue. I placed the teeth with a 1"+ space between them to make it possible for models to stand amongst them. The base is made out of cardboard, so when I glued on the sand and gravel with PVA glue
it started to warp, so i had to use big "clamping devices" to make them flat..
I painted them black(not spray) and drybrushed codex grey on them, then fortress grey, and last skull white. The reinforcement bars are painted boltgun metal, brown inked, and then a thin highlight of mithril silver(why does everyone spell mithril wrong?). That's not really how I painted them to be honest, but it's the colors I used. It's more like 15+ layers of shading and drybrushing on them...

Here's someother views, but they are a bit big to post so I linked em instead.

Very cool. They look great!

How tall are they in comparison to the models? They look kind of tall (as in they'd be as tall as a SM) but that could just be the lack of perspective.

Thx all!
They are about 3" high, so yes they are enormous!! but then in the 40k universe they got Land raiders....
and God it would be nice if you wanted to write a tutorial, but if you don't got the time to do it, I might aswell give it a try...
