Default New Cities of Death

OK, just finnished this.

*Edited

Sprayed black base then sprayed gunship grey lightly over that for the color.

Painted metal black first, then drybrushed boltgun metal, then stippled 1:1 mix snakebite leather and fiery orange.

One thing I noticed after painting is that the power is evidentally still working in a ruined city because the lights are all on.

Instructions for the landing pad can be found here:
http://uk.games-workshop.com/cityfight/above-ground/4/

Many of my ideas came from here:
http://uk.games-workshop.com/cityfight/

As always, comments/constructive criticism is appreciated.

Enjoy!

I love it! I dig the Heavy Bolter tower. Do you play that functional or just scenery? Great work.

But I noticed a big demon cat on the battlefield. I've seen them kill a monolith with one swipe. True story :'(

really nice, i like the cities of death stuff, but i haven't got round to having a finished table. i like the way you've customised some of the buildings.

heavy bolter turrets cool

cats cool, i like cats (except when they destroy your guys)

good alround i'd say, just i'd have put more colour into the statue of the space marine, but thats personal preference

Yeah, it's functional.

Yeah, I was debating making it bronze or gold, or even a different color stone, but in the end simplicity won out and I just washed it with thinned down black to bring out details. Then added bird poop details haha.

And they do haha. Sometimes the emperor himself descends and casts some of the models into the dark abyss (ie my cat knocks them into the pockets haha).

Yeah same here. No one noticed my name was Explosive Spoon until I decided to let the cat out of the bag.

I don't think that many people are fluent in Tauish, Tak. Especially us Imps.

Nice terrain, BTW.
