Default Ork tank blocker

I was bored last night and decided to make use of my big supplies of wooden sticks. ;D I just undercoated it with black spray, I'm not sure whether to leave it black or paint it metallic or something. And yes, it's not wholly undercoated because the spray can didn't reach all the parts on one spraying session.

As I said, it's black for now until I make up my mind on how to paint it.

If it is supposed to be wood, why not paint it that way? Does look very Orky too, and I think you should make another three or four, because a tank can drive around one.

Ahem. The tank block thing is just to give a name to that cover-giving terrain feature, I'll most likely be hiding my Tank Bustas behind it rather than actually trying to block tank movement.

Good idea painting it wood as it's supposed to be wood. :P I guess I'll try to paint it wood then.

Do you play Cities of Death? That would be great for the tank traps stratagem.

so what your saying is that oven cleaner can remove paint from plastic models? and after that, you take a toothbrush to your plastic model, and the paint just comes off?

Don't play it yet at least. My friend has hinted something about him buying some Cities of Death terrain though. It would be nice to get to play it, my army being siege and cityfight specialists.

Definitely an Orky contraption. To make it a bit more Orky you should add some more boards going at angles the vertical boards, crossing them. It would help give it a haphazard look, but you did a good job on it anyway.

Updated pics of the Tank Blocker. Painted it brown and added some stuff at the back. I know the sticks at the back are not really straight, but straight enough for Orks:

Very nice, you could use that for lots of things. You could use it for the city fight stratagem that involves fortifications. Or you could build some more to really effect the way tanks and other large units could maneuver around the board.

Btw: Nice Job on the theme, it looks suitably "Orky"
