I would like to start a board but i do not know where to find all of it. could someone tell me where i can find the table(i.e chipboard) and terrain making stuff? how much will it cost?

I've been building my table for a while now (damn interchangeable board maps :P :) but I made the base out of MDF, nice cheap stuff you can buy from a hardware store or like me find in most houses garage (my dad built the house so there is lots of left over crap :P) and glued down 2" of polysturene to allow for me to make craters easily (proper dipped craters) and trenches if I want, then you simply carve the terrain out of the board, add some ruins (there are plenty of tut.s on the cityfight part of GW website) and youre done.

all you need can be bought from mitre 10 or your local HW store and plasticard for the odds and ends from hobby shops (or real estate signs )

Bit more on this. Spend a bit more money and get thicker, and therefore stronger more ridged board, as there is nothing worse then spending heaps of time building a board, only to have all the terrain break because the board is too flexable.

the real estate signs are for the terrain, like ruined buildings, never for the board :P, I swear by MDF for the board, nothing is better.
