Default Carnage on a real Ziggurat

Carnage on a real Ziggurat

In WD 252 the battle report “carnage” is a race to the top of a ziggurat but sad to say this ziggurat is rather disappointing when you consider how big a ziggurat is suppose to be. I there for intend to build the top of a ziggurat being 6’ by 4’. My simple design will be the classic “levels” pyramid 8” wide 8” in height with steps for infantry to move between the levels. I will have to read the city of death codex to make the table is playable.

Comments needed and some racial theme? E.g. Aztec, eldar, loxadon?

Eldar would probably work, or Aztec-ish if it's on a feral world.

And a 6' x 4' ziggurat is mental, you could just use the top of your table for that. (although it would be cool).
What if it was 3' x 3' or 3' x 2', coming up from a 4' x 4' base, with the other section of standard 6' x 4' battlefield being a path leading to it with obelisks, shrines and all that. Like the way of the dead in tihuanaco or whatever aztec city it is.

But this a really cool idea. Any plans for what materials you'll use for construction?

Firefly is pretty much made of Awesome, Funny, and Aww. Sometimes simultaneously. We'd better stop before we quote the entire script.

The 6' by 4' was the base (last few steps before the top) and after some time on the desighs I've decided it's not playable. So I've desided to build smaller 2' by 2' ziggurat this will give it the square shape it needs to be and give more room to play a game on.

What about a pair of later 2x2 ziggurats? Perhaps with a bridge running between them?
