In Warriors of Ultramar, I thought the trenches would be cool.

Well, not so much a book but in real life you know the D'day battle, Omaha Beach... Ive often thought of making that field and making a similar mission. Only problem with this is I dont think that ANY race uses water transport, unless I used IP for the 'Allies' and I dont know Choas or something for the 'Axis'... Any ideas on how I could do this?

You can make a water vehicle with the Vehicle Design Rules. Then any race could do the mission.
Also, hover vehicles make a good alternative to water transports/chimeras.

They had all three of these boards at Warhammer World once! But, like all the great boards there, they got damaged over time by parties of small children with no respect for the place, and ended up scrapped >
