Default The Temple of Icaria

Back in the age where the Emperor fought, forgeing the empire of humanity, there was a great ork attack on back water post called Icaria. Many in the modern Imperium would let this world to fight for its self. But the Emperor loved all humanity and all the worlds it called home.

He went with his forces to avange the surely by now massacared people, but when he arvived he found the people still barely grasping on agiasnt the green tide. Inspired by their determination, he orded ALL forces to attack, utterly smashing the orks into nothingness.

The fighting was beyond words, but was the most amazing was the already batered Icarain forces. Dispite massive loses, they fough with more strengh and fury then the emperor's own.

After that finnal week of fighting, standing atop a smoldering hill side by side with the hero general of Icaria , the emperor, said "By my world, this world shall never burn, fall or be torn."

The Icarians since then pledged loyaly to emperor, and made the site of that decree a shrine and made it their sole purpose to uphold the emperor's word.

It's very nice and very well done!
I like it but I don't understand why did you build the two pillars in front of the main structure of the Temple in such a strange way... ???

You know, if physichs would allow me, I would send you a batch of home-made cookies.

I LOVE the pillars, the gutted and stark, yet reverent look, and most of all, the one terrain feature I have seen but once before, the awsome autumn leaves. Hats off to you for a great job, and I am dying to have pictures with minis in it... hint hint

Top-notch!

Woah, that really is kinda big!

I wasn't expecting it to be quite that size! The water feature is cool and well done. It does make a change to see a nice autumn scheme for terrain. I like it, awesome work.
