hmmmm....this doesn't really belong

here, does it?? and the topic is a little misleading

anyway, you can use stuff

like polystyrene foam to make hills, use cardboard for bulidings and trees (as long as

you want dead ones) can be made with wire, pva and toilet tissue

www.terragenesis.co.uk

the no1

scenery design site for making anything from a huge 5 story building to a small bio-

chemical plant

Actually cement isn't a bad idea. I used a heap

of Lego blocks to make a mold for some walls, then filled them with plaster of

Paris. This worked wonders on the smaller buildings, but on the larger ones air

couldn't get to the lower portions so it turned into a lumpy viscous sludge.

But concrete should solve this problem.

Problem with is is it is too brittle. If you

made a composite using wood or metal, then that ought to solve the problems. The finish

is much better too.

I herd a good way to make hills. First you make a frame

out of re enforced card Bord. Then you wet some paper down with diluted PVA then once it

is saturated scrunch it up, un-scrunch it then put it over the frame. This gives you a

good effect and durability. You might want to paint it as well
