Ok little buddy, a few things.

1: Don't swear here. Trust me, it's a lot nicer and safer for you if you don't.
2: The 'Sticky' threads are there for a reason... Particularly the 'Important Topics' one. It has mostly all you need to start. http://forums.tauonline.org/index.php?topic=4815.0
3: This forum has a lovely little feature... called 'Search'. Using it is usually recommended and saves on space too.

Hope this helps you out...

(By the way. Not being a picker, but we try to encourage the use of grammar here as well. Periods, capital letters and other things makes for an easier read)

Easy. Go to Forgeworld site. It's all there, mostly...

most of that stuff is from forgeworld, and can't be taken in a 40k game unless you have your opponents consent, and its over a certain points limit IIRC.

Regarding the original post, the tau codex (which you should get if you dont already have it!) explains quite well most features of the tau list. Seek the 4th ed FAQ on Gws website to see whats changed in it since 4th ed. As well, some of the suits that may be confusing you are "home- made"suits that are technically illegal, and often, with badly designed rules! the only generally legal non-forgeworld suits are the XV8 crisis, XV15 stealth, and XV88 broadside.
everything the tau can take in the 40k game is in the codex, and the various chapter approved articles scattered through GWs website (specifically, pathfinder railrifles, and human auxiliaries)

hardwiring is quite simple. its officer kit, so only shas'vres, shas'els and shas'os can take them. See the ruling where crisis suits must have 3 filled hardpoints? these commanders can take extra kit, that doesnt occupy a hardpoint, but is built into them, or the suit (hence hardwired!) and so they can take more than the 3 things most suits mua take, eg twin linked plasma rifles (2 slots), missile pod (1 slot) and a hard wired multi tracker (hard wired). As you can see, he has the needed 3 slots filled, plus some extra kit. its not recommended generally, as hard wired stuff is expensive pointswise.

My advice to you is the same aqs everyone else: do a quick search on the site, and read the important topics above. you will find links to all the things you need.

have fun, and happy hunting! Oh, and here, have a stikkbomb while you're at it!

You don't need shas'vre. There are two upgrades for the suits, team leader and shas'vre. Team leader lets you take hardwired gear. Shas'vre means you have taken team leader, and now you take the upgrade to get +1WS and I. It's not a very good upgrade.

So, Shas'O, Shas'El, and Team Leader suits can access the armory and take hardwired gear. The exact rules are in the codex.

So you are saying that all the stuff on forge world is not in the codex eg
Barracuda
Drone Sentry Turrets
Hammerhead Turret Variants
Heavy Gun Drones
Orca Dropship
Pathfinder Tetras
Piranha
Skyray
Tiger Shark
PS: Can you buy this stuff

Correct, its not in the codex.

Its available for purchase from Forgeworld, who also produce the rules for these models.

Forgeworld Tau: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog...RE_TAU_15.html
Imperial Armour Volume 3: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog..._BOOKS_12.html

Look in the important topics sticky on this board, and look for the 'Guide to Forgeworld models'

Got it in one! none of it is in the codex

And yes, you can buy it, but you'd better be the son of a millionaire as Forgeworld stuff is infamous for the number of zeros at the end of the pricetag! Have lots of $$$$ ready!
