I am NOT that into my painting if i need a magnifying glass to see what i'm painting i definitely don't have a steady enough hand to paint it.

Thats not the kind of thing you use for everyday get your army painted stuff it's more for contest type painting in my opinion.

If your using it for your whole army or whatnot i'd say maybe your taking it a little bit too far and maybe relax a bit about it but if you have the time and dedication go for it i'm too lazy for ahh i meant too busy for that kind of detail.

I'll admit it my wife got me a gem cutter's head rig with L.E.D. lights on both sides and four levels of magnification... but in saving myself from complete insane geekdom I only use it when I am trying to make a really special model or have painted over other details 2 or 3 times and just want to get it right and have it done. Okay and sometimes when I get reall OCD...

While I do enjoy painting I dont do it to that level.
I still remember the days I used to pain in eyes in detail and patterns on fabric but now Ive become way too lazy to do that.

My armies looks great from afar but upon closer scrutiny they look far from great.
But then again these days I probably spend half the time making my figures look weathered.
