hello, people i need some help with a model that i am making it's a, well it's an archer and i was wondering if anyone has/had any ideas on how i could make a bow (preferably a british long bow style), if possible can we please leave green stuff out of it as i don't have any left and the supplyer that i get it from doesn't have any until the end of the month although if that is the only option then that will be fine.

Anything flexible will do provided you have appropriate paint some suggestions would be small bits of electircal wire if you strip off the covering and bend the cord to a bow shape then paint this brown/black whatever it should do then get a thinner piece to make the string or some actual sewing thread would work nicely.
Alternatively metal paper clips might do though they tend to retain their kinks so might take a bit of effort to get a smooth curve from them. I'll have a think for any other possibilities but seriously just look around your house and if you can say yes to these two questions then it'll do. Can i bend it to make a bow shape Can i paint it.
