Default Static Broadsides

Ok question, me and a few guys have been playing some apocolapse games at the local shop and one of the guys has a titan with another on the way, he generally takes out the broad sides in one hit leaving me with a bunch of nothing. Would anyone recommend playing the broadsides with all drone controllers to have them equip 6 shield drones? we generally play 2000 points a person so its not really a problem point wise but would it be a good idea, i never move them(havent lived long enough) and the twin link generally takes care of any misses i may have, so no targeting array is needed.

i would basically run this in a game:

2 Shas el w/ 2 shield drones and TL PR
2 squads of 3 Crisis w/ TLPR, TLMPx2, w/ TA
2 Squads of 12 FW
2 Pihranas w/ Fusions and DPs
2 Squads of 3 Broadsides each with 6 shield drones (2 on each model)
2 Hammerheads with Railguns and SMS w/ DP & MT

that comes to about 1900 pts, i know i can add more but not really putting alot of thought into the specifics. any help would be awesome.

Yeah but more importantly their protected from a rush attack by the likes of dark eldar

theres a few drawbacks for me in the way i generally play my broadsides i.e can't have multi's for my plasma rifles.

but your definitely thinking and have given me food for thought so thanks for that appreciate it.
