Default Help with offensive tau

So I'm still in the campaign I mentioned earlier, its all going well haven't lost yet.

I am coming up against sisters of battle soon and I'm a bit worried.

The rules have changed, the point limit is 750, when attacking into a territory you have to take the one objective that your opponent gets to place anywhere they like. If the team contests the objective at the end of the match than they win.

This is my defensive list, I used it to attack chaos marines and annihalated him twice to take two territories.

HQ Shaso - HW DC, HW MT, Plasma Rifle, Airburst, 2 x Sheild drones
total 150

Troops
7 x Firewarriors
7 x Firewarriors
Total 140

Elites
3x Fireknife
3x Deathrain
total 315

Heavy
2x Broadsides
total 140

Grand total 745

I really like this list as a defensive list, can hold objectives easily. Attacking though is a problem, I was thinking of maybe out flanking with kroot and kroot hounds but thats not gonna be too good against space marines in assualt.

Any ideas?

At this point level Vespid would be pretty good just be sure to take advantage of their skilled flyers ability to stay in cover

Their weapons are 5 str AP 3 and i would probably trim off the shields from your hq drop a fireknife and have the HQ join that squad that should give you 92 points to get you started with 5 Vespid do you really need the plasma rifles at this point level?

maybe you could turn the fireknives into deathrains to get more points?

but of course not if you actually seeing action in the realm of terminators though but i doubt you are.

plus i don;t see any major advantage in having 7 firewarrior squads instead of just 6

I only made it 7 as I had 20 points left over. I'm opting for fireknife as power armor won't get its save against it. I use the shield drones to protect my 88s though. There is alot of tanks running in every game so far.

Fw being the only scoring unit, I'd have to find a way to get them a df

You should be able to find cover for a single unit of broadsides surely....well those are my suggestions but of course the decisions are yours to make.

Open planes wow that would never happen over here would i run kroot on the offense i would because you need a way to get your scoring troops to that other objective very likely to be deep in enemy territory so outflanking them would be a good idea and they could be easily swapped for one of the firewarrior units defensively no i wouldn't.

Re-fit your commander, make him a Shas'el with a targeting array he'll be 15 points cheaper and still shoot the same, you won't miss the extra WS or wound, I didn't.
