Cool paint job, I like the two shades of blue as camo.

Very nicely painted anti. I especially love the missile in launch flight, so few folks actually do anything with their models to make them different or special. Very nice.

Mind you it is difficult to do tau conversions, Chaos space marines are best for conversions because of the variety of parts.

Tau suck at convetring
that's why it's such a good job
there are no T'au buildings in your average GW stock
i am currently trying to make some walls tau style
using LOADS of filler on a plastic frame from bare from the standard sprue's

Oh i know guys, kroot are easy and since tau can't take trophies why I build memorial kroot of a sort for special victories. I've tried modeling/customizing some fire warriors but as previously noted the limited parts and gear make it difficult though once I get them painted I'll get them put up for opimioms and thoughts. What i meant though about so few folks customizing/modeling their models was actually in general, there are a lot of "carbon copy modelers in my area even when they have the chance to improve their models most of them dont. As said though that is what makes Anti's modification of his skyray so cool and impressive, even if it is just a firing missile it is something cool and different.

One of my favorites is to get a part or parts from the ooponent type from a really good or memorable fight and craft a krrot to utilize the look as if they picked up salvage after the fight, thus one with a chain sword from a victory over space wolves, one where I replaced the kroot knife with an imperial guard/catachan fighting knife and yet a third that has imperial guard helmets for shoulder armor...
