Default "they came from the skies"

Has anyone played that new mission againsts tyranids in the new WD, the one when you deploy all of your force along a strip down the centre of the board and then the whole nid army deep strikes. also there's a SPORE FOG rule that affects range of guns and even starts killing people with D6 st 2 ap 2 hits if you remain stationary.

I've played it twice, once with tau and once with guard I won with tau and lost BADLY with gaurd. Both times I used a split deployment with 1 half of the army at each end . He took lots of broods with guns and nids guns are so good in the new rules, some can re-role to hit and some can re-role to wound so he had tonnes of shots that proptly munched all my infantry plattons and lictors poped out to destroy my leman russ.

I heard a 'Nid player bragging, "these twin-linked guns get six shots and have living ammunition, so I can reroll to hit and to wound."

That's pretty ridiculous.

It's true though...nid broods can reroll to hit but it's an upgrade to give living ammo. Only bigger bugs can take that though like warriors and fex's etc.
