Hi all, I got the battle force and in that there is a Devilfish as you know. This is the first Tau that I won so am not sure if parts are missing. Should there of been the option for smart Missiles to replace the gun drones?

No It is complete.

The Smart missile system bits are part of the Hammerhead weapon sprue (which can be bought off GW website under weapon bits...at least it used to).

ah ok thanks Boneguard, Does it also come with the Skyray?

The Sky Ray box comes with all the Devilfish and Hammerhead bits, along with the seeker rack that identifies the Sky Ray.

As far as i'm concerned, the weapon bitz sprue has only got the bitz to transform a Devilfish into a Hammerhead, thats what all the parts do (which, for secondary weapons gives you the extra burst cannon for 2 burst cannons and a pair of SMS)

Skyray has all options. When you buy a skyray you can build a Hammerhead, a Devilfish or a Skyray. Of course you have to use some magnets to be able to change the chin mounted bustcannon. There is a great guide in this forum at the modeling section.

Regardingthe SMS for the Battleforce Devilfish.... build one yourself. If you have tons of Crisis bits, then use Missile pods. Otherwise you can scratchbuild the seekers with some plastic cardboard. They aren't too hard to build. Just use 2 Gun drones as base. If you do this you also get two antennas that you can use if you want to build shield drones.

Cheers all thanks for your help. Am just starting Tau so spare Crisis bits are not easy to come by atm :-) I plan on getting more stuff anyway so am sure I can sort something out. I just wanted to make sure I was not missing things from the battleforce.
