Which bit am i supposed to use as the targeting array. I have looked in the codex for a picture and haven't found one. Do i just use a different part and call it a TA? ???
Any advice appreciated. |

I typically use the Drone controller/Multi-tracker bit. but I suppose you could use the target lock.

This topic comes up a lot. There really is no targeting array bit, you have to either make your own, use a different bit (if you don't use target locks in your list you could just use them as targeting arrays throughout the army), or just forgo modeling them altogether (personally that doesn't sound like an external device to me anyway).

I generally use the "Target Lock" bit or the C&C node bit for a targetting array. I generally dont run many targetting arrays anyway. For the most part honestly I just use the target lock bit for everything except a shield generator. The Target Lock is the coolest looking bit to me. Also, it doesn't have that annoying antanna that breaks off like the multi-tracker bit does.

I use a Target Lock too. Most likely any Target Locks in your army will be Hard-wired, so there's little need for the bit, plus it looks like how I'd imagine the TA to anyways; an additional optical sensor.

For any units/vehicles that I want a TA on, I use the Target Lock piece. Vehicles have no Target Lock of their own, so it made sense to me to use it to represent a TA. |

I tend to use the target lock part as well, seeing as I never add the upgrade.
