Default Sky Ray assembly and quick question

I just purchased the Sky Ray missile rack to swap out with my Hammerhead. I'm sure I could put it together no problems, but I'd hate to miss something and screw it up.

Does anyone have directions for the rack they can send me?

Also, how many missiles can the Sky Ray fire per turn?

Thanks.

The Sky Ray can fire 0-6 missiles per turn, however they are all single shot weapons. After having fired all 6 Seekers, the Sky Ray is left with its Markerlights and te secondary weapon system.

I read somewhere that you can write an e-mail to GW and they will send you the assembly instructions in .pdf format for free.

A sky ray can only fire 0-2 missiles per turn, as with all seeker missiles. It does only have 6 one-shot missiles, though.

I do not think so. It can launch its own missiles at the rate of 0-2 per turn, depending on the success of its Markerlights. However, believe other Markerlight sources may be used to fire more missiles from the Sky Ray.

Actually you are wrong and Watchdog is right.

A Skyray could Alpha strike and shoot all 6 of it's seeker missiles provided that there are 6 markerlight token on the table (say from a pathfinder team or two).

If it only uses it's own networked markerlight -a waste IMO- then yes he is limited to 2 max per turn.

Unless it is a Networked Markerlight, such as from a Marker Drone or from a Sky Ray.

As mentioned by Watchdog and I did specified it. Skyray has networked markerlight, so yes can benefit from his own markerlight.

Regarding the assembly, the skyray tail is one of the hardest bits in the tau arsenal to assemble. The box is supposed to come with directions, though, and all of them that I purchased did. Look closely at the book in the box and I think you'll find that the directions for all possibilities (devilfish, hammerhead, and skyray) are there. If you don't have it, see if GW can send you one, or somebody who has one lying around could email you a scan of the important pictures.

Yes, that's technically a breach of copyright, but it's a fair use if I've ever heard one.

I was thinking about that when I was writing this post, and decided that it was ok. I wasn't asking for copied rules, or pages from a codex, but directions on how to assemble a purchased GW item.

Well, if anyone can scan and send, I'd appreciate it. It's just for the missile rack, not the whole model.

I did send a request to GW, but I know it'll take them a while to reply...

Thanks again.
