Default Anti-Space Marine army for the tau

I really need help building an anti-space marine army. Do any of you have any fool proof suggestions that have been put into use?
I'm playing against space wolves and blood angels
Edit: I apologise. I did not give sufficient information for you guys to fully answer the question. A devoted veteran Space marine player has challenged me to a take and hold mission. Considering I play tau and tau battle tactics are centered around takeing ground only to make the kill, this mission is a very difficult mision to play with. He is Either feilding Wolves or blood angels. I need to take out his units before he gets to the objective.

There's really no such thing as a fool-proof army for even a particular target. Bad luck, and good strategies can beat a army geared to battle against a particular race.
It'll be nothing more than a handi-cap, as even the best army designed against SMurfs can loose with an incompetent behind the helm.
On the other hand, a superior strategist, or one who's just good at exploiting weaknesses in strategy or army design can, on the other hand, defeat you through traps, and various tricks.
Take a computer strategy game like Starcraft for example. As you progress the campaign, the computer opponent is not getting better, the levels are designed to give you progressivly stronger and stronger handicaps as the opossing army grows bigger and bigger and better geared to take on whatever you do. But the player is still able to beat this opponent despite the handicaps because of superior strategy. It's no different than making an army geared against another army.
There is no such thing as perfection. Just preferences and ability in the units and the player.

RailgunV42:

Quite a delicate question actually, as Frank pointed out, it will vary greatly on the Marines you're facing. An assault marine heavy traited marine army will be very differently fought against than a mounted rhino marine player. Just like, playing a very shooty marine force that consists of many min/maxed marine troops with Las/Plas setups and whirlwinds will also be quite different than a balanced force would be.

The more we know, the more we can grant to you.

However, the obvious things that can be at least forementioned would be the standard lot of Ion Cannon, Seeker Missiles, Plasma Rifles, Fusion Blasters and Rail Rifles. How each is used of course, is quite different (and of course, all are mentioned as they deny the marines their precious armor save). But really, you could achieve the same effect with massed numbers.

For example:

An Ion Cannon on a Hammerhead will produce about 2 dead marines on average per turn. That's from only 3 shots to begin with that are high strength and low ap.
A squad of Stealthsuits on the other hand do not break the marine armor saves, but they have volume, and they too will produce 2 dead marines on average per turn.

So the question is, which unit will do the job against your foe better?

Now of course - this is merely a hypothetical example, but I think the comparison of two very different units, doing very different things, can produce the same exact result when applied towards that which you wish to disappear.

Look forward to hearing from you

Cheers!

My suggestion and beleive me this works field six crisis suits with twin linked plasma rifle. Dont feild the hammerhead instead field three broadsids or more for your heavy support. Thats really all i can give you right know cause I need to sleep

i would disagree with the broadsides as they are less mobile and easy er to kill. i would field 2 HH (depending on points) 1 with Rail Gun and 1 with Ion cannon. marker light the ion cannon and you will get 2-3 dead marines per turn and the rail gun can take out armour at 72" and also fire submunitions for crowd control.

Crowd control for marines? They will all get their saves, even if you do wound on 2+s.

Depending on how many Marines are covered by the submunition round, it statistically causes the same number of casualties as an Ion Gun.
