Crisis suits with twin linked plasma? That should drop them.

How does he transport them? Or does he foot-slog terminators?

Also, what does he arm them with? Assault Cannons and storm bolters? Or something else?

if you want to specialize a unit against them... get 3 crisis suits.. and have pathfinders markerlight for you... If he deepstrikes.. then you can also deepstrike them... or deploy them near where you think he will drop them on you... if he uses a transport. either pop it at long range or give the 1 crisis suit the leader upgrade, with a Target lock, he aims at the tank, pops it, then the other 2 can shoot at the guys coming out from inside. they will be Pinned, because they just fell out of it. and then you have all of next turn to open fire in rapid fire range >

3X Crisis Suit
-Plasma
-Fusion
-Mutli-Tracker

If you have trouble getting close to them, use a FoF attack, but put the crisis suits behind that, but within rapid fire range with the fire warriors, shoot with the pathfinders markerlights first, then the suits suits (using every 1 markerlight for 2 2+ shots from a plasma rifle), then whatever is left... probably 1 suit, open fire with the fire warriors, thatt'l take care of them...

i think that about covers most ways he can bring them at you... ^-^ hope this helped

Well Joker, 2 or 3 crisis suits with twin linked plasma rifles (this can include the commander as he has a better BS) will do the job nicely, try not to waste railgun shots at them however.

A common way for a player to bring his termies in (especially versus Tau), would be via deep-strike, if this happens then you could get cuaght off gaurd, as you ideally want these crisis suits within 12" rapid firing range. So if he is deepstriking, just be weary and think about where you are moving/where he is likely to strike etc.

you can probably ignore them untill all of his tanks are gone then a good turn of shooting from a broadside team will kill half of them....

I don't know about that actually, the broadisde railguns are single shot, and remember the termies will still get an invunerable save. As a last resort or just to make sure then give them some railguns, however in my opinion these can almost always be spent better elsewhere (commanders, tanks, dreadnoughts). The way for me is rapid fire plasma range with twin linked rifles. Because this is Tau technology remember that rolling ones and twos don't cause overheating!
