Default Markerlights and seeker missiles

Hi all,

I've only got a squad of firewarriors and a piranha at the moment, but am going to build a load more models from my "easter battleforce"

I want my firewarrior squads to have markerlights (so they can give a bit more flexibility) and i'm hoping to stick some seeker missiles on my piranha. So I need to include them on the model somewhere!

What should i use to signify markerlight wielding Shas'uis? and seekermissiles on the piranha? Do things like this come in the battleforce set? Also can u have a markerlight on a rife, or does it have to be on a carbine like the pathfinders guns??

Thanks

Chris

One Seeker Missile comes on the Devilfish sprue. They can be also bought from Forge World, or if you buy a Sky Ray and build a Hammerhead instead, you get 6 Seekers for free.

It is up to you to model a Markerlight. I have seen them both shoulder mounted and attached to the Pulse Rifle or Carbine. However, using Markerlights in Fire Warrior teams is not too recommended, since it is a move or fire weapon.

Go to Resources > Downloads. There's a how-to for a plasticard markerlight that looks pretty spectacular when finished.

It cant be as the only DC firewarriors can get is hard wired and that is clearly not hard wired to anything.

well to be honest I made my own markerlights by chopping up the spare rifles so that the just the barrel was left and stuck that alongside the barrel of the rifle, it looks alright and you can do it with the bits in the box. I'm not the best at converting things and this was my solution. If your any good you'll have a better go than me, but hope this helps you.

Since I have lots of extra pulse carbines lieing around, I cut the grenade launcher bit off the bottom of a couple of them and attached it to the pulse rifle. I've seen crisis suit are stealth suit target locks as markerlights, but I think that looks silly.

i used a cut up pulse carbine bit with a small piece of the double wire from some dead headphones to connect it to the targeter piece, ill get a pic up soon (i havnt done it to a rifle yet but you can just use a bigger headphone piece)

here is the pic, its not the best but you should know what im talking about

Ya I like cutting the, "grip" or something on a carbine and putting it on top of pulse rifles, the only thing I use. They actually sorta look similar I guess.
