Well basically right now, I am researching them. The only picture I have found so far is this one:

Not at all very Devilfish like, but I have made some interesting stuff out of Greenstuff. I have found stats for the thing that were homebrew.

Also it sounds like the Scorpionfish is supposed to be something like this: http://spaceship.brainiac.com/GamesW...-dropship.html

Like I have said in other threads, I do not know much about this stuff, but I love doing conversions.

are those models for battlefleet gothic cause they look the size of drones! :funny: also if you did make a life size one you could modify that orca- i thought you could give it a devilfish front and also swap those front boosters for ion cannon sponsons.
also if you want to go over the top you could maybe make a kind of tail out of a converted defiler leg and put twin linked railguns on there!!!
that would be the coolest conversion ever ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Scorpionfish are basically modified Orcas, currently they are simply found for the Aeronautica Imperialis and BFG IIRC.

Would be very costly for WH40K since you need ot buy the Orca which is well over 400 USD.

Oh and Puretide, you should have send Lord Scythian a private message instead of creating this thread. And I already mentioned this, but please use proper ponctuation and capitalisation.

I think they are for Epic 40K, which looks like ground battles, where battlefleet gothic is for the space battles. If I am not mistaken, the Baneblade started out in Epic 40K. Anyways it looks like it would be a massive conversion and way too much money would be invested according to Boneguard.

Honestly when I first thought of it, I didn't realize what kind of project it was either.

The Scorpionfish is a Tau war vehicle found in Epic 40k. It is a modified Orca so weighted down with missiles that it can barely hover a couple feet off the ground. It has direct fire missiles, Seeker missiles, submunition missiles, and tracer missiles. 14 AV all around would be the 40k equivalent mefinks.

In Firebase 7, there is an article on how to scratch build an Orca out of insulation foam.

Well I didn't even know of Firebase's existence! Thank you so much! That Orca Drop ship looks pretty nice and I bet it would look even better with a few bits from other models! Honestly I really appreciate that post!
