Nope, we have it already for all intents and purposes.

It's called Codex: Imperial Guard. Minus some pulse, markerlight, and some grenades that's essentially what they are.

Not exactly minus that either as the fluff seems to indicate that Gue'vesa just use replica Imperial equipment, and are only given Tau weapons when it is necessary.

Codex: Gue'vesa would just be Codex: Imperial guard with an alternate background section.

(And CI, could you please learn to spell, in particular only say wot if you normally speak in a very thick cockney accent)

I appologise for me spelling,sorry.

I was actually intending to use the Gue'shenshi( atleast thats what i think they are called) army list from epic as a basic outline for the codex i want to do. This codex i'm planning will be for non-tournament games and the like.
I was hopeing to move away from the imperial theme for this list, possibly adding some new units but trying to keep it within the same guidelines as the other "official" codex's.
But hey, all advice welcomed

Don't bother, its just too easy to imitate Gue'vesa with the IG doctrines system, and that's tournament legal unlike house rules.

With kroot you need the downloadable kroot codex from GW's site,

as for the Tau I'm afraid you can't.

Thats what Apocalypse is for. Or friendly games if your opponent will let you... I no i wouldn't have to much trouble lettin someone do Use tau with a small IG force incorperated into it... So long as they weren't to cheesey about.... I'd probs get them to look into the Inq allied system.... Daemon/Witch Hunters are aloud 1 HQ 2 Elite 3 Troop and 2 Fast and no heavy... For me personally i'd be happy to allow that...
So a sample force could be...

HQ
Shas'o
IG command squad

Elite
Crisis Suits
Stealth Team
Harden Vets

Troops
Fire Warrior + 'fish
Fire Warrior + 'fish
Kroot
Kroot
IG Platoon Mounted (min size)
IG Platoon Mounted (min size)

Fast Attack
Pathfinders
Sentinels
Hellhound

Heavy
Rail-head
Rail-head
Broadsides

I believe that this could be considered a rather fluffy list... Expensive yes. Make the vehicles yourself and have them as count as to show that they are replicas....

If someone spent the time and effort to do this then I'd want to play it....
