I might be making my very first Forge World purchase soon ;D. I'm interested in Knarloc Riders, as they're Fast Attack and aren't much weaker than Great Knarlocs.

I'd like some photos of them with Krootox, so I can see their height and length.

If possible, I'd like reviews on their effectiveness please, especially against Tyranids and SM.

Well I don't have a camera with me, but I can tell you that the Knarloc Rider is rougly as tall as a krootox (so about 2"-2.5" tall) and roughly 3.5" long (so a bit longer)

Like all FW stuff it uses a 60mm base though.

Ugh. They sound so small. I pictured them to be quite a fair bit bigger. Would it not then be cheaper to buy 3 Krootox and have them pose as Knarloc Riders?

I've seen some pictures where someone used Warhammer Fantasy Cold Ones as Knarlocs and put kroot on them. I don't know how hard it was to do, but the results were very good.

Sorry, not meaning to bump the thread, but I feel that I was out of line (even if I'm now out of line for something else). Boneguard, I never thanked you. I was in such an outrage about their size, that I forgot it. Normally I don't, so I apologise.

So thank you for your assistance, Boneguard. It will make my decision much easier.

OK, one last thing. Does anybody have the dimensions (Height, Breadth & Length) of the Great Knarloc with Bolter Kroot? I'm kind of wagering the two.

I don't have mine currently infront of me, but here,s the rough dimension:

About 5-6" long, standing 4.5"-5" tall with the riders and it's about 2.5"-3" wide...always on 60mm base.

I love the knarloc model so much I got all of them
