you should check the important topics, and look under "tau A-Z" for the Tau words, its where I derived the name of my army, and also put up some experimental colours...

My army name for example is Y'T'Yr, meaning Once Of Experience. lead by the Y'T'Yr'Va (Va=great)

Its not very hard to do. 8)

I`ll look if I can find your army a decent name, in the meantime, post your strategy and favorite units please.

If I were you I would look at some Japanese Anime to get some Ideas. Then look at the examples in the Tau A -Z.

Other than that It's YOUR Army you should decide which way to go.

Good Luck

None can step before them, they are the first, proud in their strength and jealous of their renown. Through the storms of the warp they come, upon the very tides of terror, but of such dangers they are uncaring. They are the Space Wolves, the Undefeated, the bane of the Emperor's foes."

Well, if you want to have an oriental feel to the name itself, Anime is generally a good start, as no matter how European it might seem, it really has an Asain background to it.
References to celestial beings, alternate worlds, as well as devotion are good.
Or you could just use something that doesn't mean anything in Tau, but is based on something real, like: T'el'ev'ison, or P'ers'o'com.
Try to figure out what those really are ^_^.
More suggestions are: Se'via, Jyu'stis, Fr'ed'omu, Z'akk'u, Ka'osu, Gai'a, A'bb'isu, In'pulsu.
Let's see if you can figure what show I'm watching ^_^.
And as a finale: Hen'rie'tta, Tri'ela, Cl'aes, Ri'co, An'ge.
This'll have to be from my top five shows list (Sorry for the trivia, but I want to see if anybody can figure out this last set).
Anyways, this is just some examples of showing that you can get the names from pretty much anywhere you want to, especially if you add an accent, or use Romaji (Japanese written with English letters) to change the sound and look a little.
And if you want, you're welcome to use these for your amy (though they're probably better as unit names rather than an army >_>

I've gone with the silly name myself, but not so obvious. mine is named the "Toe stompers" for all my firewarrors are good in close combat. I wonder how long somone will take to figure that out since its written in tau...

I`d say Tash`var, as its a sept of practical and straightforward warriors.

But I think you need a name in Tau, as its far more interesting...shas've'nu, meaning eternal flame, or warriors of everlasting

Tsumishi: I haven`t got a clue! These are the names of the characters right?
