I find it unlikely, GW will probably just nerf them so no one wants to use them. They'll do this because they kill Space Marines, and they can't allow that.

They will have to take away my trusty Kroot and Pulse rifles then. No burst cannons, no missile pods.... no, wait..... is there a Tau weapon that can not reliably kill a Marine? Flamers???

Seekers always seemed to me to be on par with Hunter-Killer Missiles with the nice added bonus that they can hit from the side of the vechile carrying it. Otherwise, it is the same in many ways. Why make it better then it is?

3 Suits with TL flamers actually make quite a mess of most troops nowdays, all the templates hit at once and you reroll the wounds - you can normally do more wounds than there are troops in the unit and even with 3+ saves it makes quite a big ouch

Why? It's an Anti-tank missile, not an antipersonnel one. It has no need to explode in a blast of shrapnel, hence it's not going to all of a sudden.

I'd like the option to have submunition seekers (S4 AP6, Small Blast, Ignores Cover ), with the ability for a Sky Ray to choose it's ammo type at the start of the game, much like a whirlwind. All other vehicle mounted seekers would stay as they are now however.

Much agreed; And it would also be good if the Skyray could rearm itself... Or maybe give us a Fio Engin(s)eer that can repair our suits and vehicles, and rearm the Ray!

While it would be cool, I don't expect the tau to get any kind of blast weapon beyond the AFP or Railgun Submunition. I find seeker missiles a point sink and the skyray I thought was great until it ran out of seekers and I realized it was a sub par anti-vehicle/personel "tank". But more on topic, it would make sense for them to be just as strong and have a small blast, since they are a one shot point expense IMO.

I'd rather have new fluff or a new unit or new wargear for my suits/vehicles than "make an existing weapon kill more things".
