Okay, this is something it helps to realise with Tau.

Salamanders, for example, are green Space Marines. Blood Angels are red Space Marines.

But the Tau fight in camouflage gear. The colour schemes for septs are just indicative of the terrain of that sept. So yours would work for nights.

Wasn't Voir'la Red Armor, Tanish cloth, black highlights?

However, for a night fight, I like IT!

No. What I am saying is that my Air Support has lots of Ground Cadre.

If a Land Raider dies to a rail gun, and no one was around to see it, does the kill point still exist?

The codex does suggest that Vior'la's sept colour is red, but even so, there are reasons that a caste might not wear their sept colour in some occasions...

The scheme works as well, and looks good. If you want it to be truly a vior'la sept though I would suggest a red stripe instead of light blue.

No no no "Sept Colour" is not the same as "predominant colour in the scheme."

Sept colour is the bits on the pulse rifle, the helmet and the shoulder pad that are ice blue here =)

In the codex it actually shows some of the Voir'la armour as rotting flesh armour, catachan green clothes and sept colour red, but as circus said - mine is night-fighting Voir'la and I felt the ice blue would stand out more.

So guys do you suggest I paint them the colour shown in the codex for Voir'la or my night-fight Voir'la...

Do two models, one in either scheme, see which was easiest, which you prefered, which looks better in real life, and make a decision decided on that.
