Default Invisible shield.....

.... it just occured to me that the stealth generator equipped units could be ignored regarding target priority in 4th edition, but now in 5th target priority is gone and instead there is cover saves from intervening units and it says nowhere that this effect can be ignored by the shooting player. (Please correct me if i am wrong)

So you could use the stealths as an invisible shield moving 24" in front of the enemy right ?
You can even adjust your shield length easily by using between 3 and 18 models.

Risk loosing shots by trying to spot my stealths or give me a juicy 4+ cover ! ;D

Sounds nice....

I haven't seen anything in the rules where this isn't the case. The FAQ also said absolutely nothing about this issue. So as it stands the stealth suits would provide a 4+ cover save. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No that's pretty much how we see it. You need to roll against his stealth siheld to shoot it, but they provide cover.

yeah he's saying either take a chance at not seeing the stealth, or shoot at a unit with cover saves.

Good idea but what should you sheild. I just thought of a varint to this. you could give a battlesuit a cover save behind sniper dornes by jump shoot jumping if there is no cover for it. Sadly it will only work for monats. It would work with deathrains. I think Inqui idea would work for covering kroot on an obejctive. > Or fire warriors.

A good way to use this would be with kroot, if there is no good cover for them or they need to take & hold an objective.

You can Infiltrate both units. Put your suits in front of the kroot and spread them out in a line. This way they can easily provide cover for a big block of kroot.

Deathrains can JSJ from behind sniper drone teams as Doctor Wu said.

You can go to ground, too, if you have to... although it's usually not a good idea. Better than losing the entire unit, though.
