Default shoot and run

this is still in development so I need your help.

the idea is basic,

pick up firewarriors,

move a certain distance in front of the enemy unit

unload and shoot from firewarriors

pack up and send 1 drone to assault the remaining ( as a distraction)

this could be very powerful , but i haven't worked out the distances and timing (turns)

thats where you guys come in =]

what do you think ?

unlikely and probably unfeasable mainly due to the fact it has to be done on 3 turn, since you cannot load and unload troops in the same turn (unless the transport gets destroyed).

Plus you must unload both drones at the same time. You cannot send one and keep the other for later.

I think it really really wont work.

Pick up Fire warriors in Devilfish, drop off Fire warriors (thats two turns of movement)

Shoot (no guarantee of killing the unit)

Send one gun drone into assault... i'm curios as to where this gun drone comes from, i mean you get two from the Devilfish... and they HAVE to form one unit...

Also, one gun drone in CC is going to die pretty much all the time.. so really your giving your opponent another D6 movement.

Pack up Firewarriors (another turn)

So all in all this is going to succeed in Moving your Fire warriors closer to the enemy, then giving the enemy some more movement towards your fire warriors in your own turn...

okay so some adjustments were made :

fish with firewarriors moves and unloads units in front of an enemy , they shoot pack up and then send there two gun drones after the remaining units
so that the fish can return safely at the cost of two gun drones

how many turns is that ?

if the firewarriors were in the fish during deployment, you could move out and shoot in turn 1, then load and escape by turn 2, with the drones covering you.

with Pathfinders using the scout rule, you could be done by turn 1 hehe

Not to be mean, but the answer is in the rulebook under transport section (same as it was in 4th ed)...plus if you reread my post and trick3003, you already have your answer there.

Edit:
dang Ninja'd.
