Default Railguns on Crisis suits?

Sorry if this is a rather noob question, but I was looking through the Tau Codex this morning, and thought I spotted something. NOWHERE that I could find does it say that Railguns can only be had by Broadsides. So, the question is, can normal crisis suits have Railguns? I ask this, because I would like to convert a Shas'o to become a sort of sniper, with one Railgun and a missile pod. Thanks in advance!

No.
Crisis suits can only use weapons from the armoury. Do you see railguns there?

No, because its not listed as an item the crisis suit can purchase.

Nice idea though - if you want a converted sniper, why not convert it, and use it as a deathrain suit (long range) and just counts as the sniper rifle as a missile pod.

I'd put rail rifles on it myself...the railgun is just too big.

Ah, I'm being blind. They are in the weapons listings, but not in the armory. Thanks! Time for my other idea; a Close combat Shas'o, with flamer and fusion gun (or TL flamers), Stimulant injector, Irridium armor, and Shield Generator. I will also have a Shas'el, with a Positional relay, to be sure he gets in on time... All of them will be heavily converted; even my Devilfish is converted to look like it is just landing, a Fire warrior standing at the open back hatch, holding onto the roof...

Sorry about this, but I just saw something else. Can you have a flamer take place of one of the BSS? If so, does that mean you can have a twin-linked flamer and Fusion gun? (Or twin-linked fusion gun and flamer)

Yes you could have a Tl Flamer and a fusion gun, but no other Support system since these 2 weapon take up your 3 hard point...but you can still take whatever you want from the third column though.

Yes you can, but you'll have to drop the SG instead.

Frankly, I'd rather you add a HW multitracker to the fusion/flamer combo instead of going TL-fusion/Flamer, and make him an 'O. That way you'd have the WS and BS to make him count that close to the enemy without losing much protection. Of course this HQ's pts then shoots through the roof...

You can have three weapons or support systems. There is no minimum requirements for either. But if you twin linked one of the weapons, you wouldn't be able to have the shield generator you mentioned, as a twinlinked weapon takes two hardpoints.
However there's no point in twinlinking the fusion blaster on a Shas'O as 35 hits out of 36 shots is sorta excessive.

So... Shas'O with TL Flamer (Re-rolling to wound), Fusion Blaster, Multi-tracker, Stimulant Injectors, Irridium armor? I'm just debating whether or not to take the TL or a shield generator... The last thing they would suspect is a Battlesuit DSing, flaming, and then charging. The last thing I need is suprise Power weapons...
