Default Interesting Typo

Found the first obvious typo in the 5th Edition rulebook. Check out the entry for Crisis Suit Shas'vre in the Tau summary in the back of the book. Looks like they just copied it over from the Stealth Shas'vre without updating it.

I can't wait to get into an arguement with someone at my GW over that. I can just see it now...

"its in the 5th ed book so that means its true!"

"its in my codex beotch!"

Does that not mean we can argue for crisis stealth fields?

they do not have a point value and are not listed in the Battlesuit wargear so it would be pretty futile. They are in the wargear section because that is the only place the definition seems to fit in the codex.

I vote Stealth Field Generators in new codex are either wargear with a point value or take a hardpoint. Not for stealth suits though.

The summary in the rule book is full of typos. Codex stat lines always trump summaries/reference sheets. Codex reference sheets are also full of typos. The Imperial Guard book has 3 mistakes I believe. The stats in the troop entry section trumps any summary/reference sheet. Always got by the section in the middle of the book that explains the rules for the unit.

Also note that they list a "Fireknife" suit as being one with twin-linked Fusion Blasters and a Targeting Array. GW...always too busy with their space Nazis to at least keep the fluff correct for the space Commies.
