Default Rapid Insertion Force: Best mix of configurations?

I have a Rapid Insertion Force that I have yet to put together, and I've been trying to work out what suit configurations I should go with. I'm not really planning on running them as an RIF; I just bought the box to get 9 Crisis Suits at a bargain price. Unfortunately, though, I'm not able to magnet-mod the suits; we have an infant in the house, and my wife is wary about having tiny ingestible rare earth magnets floating around.

So, if I'm stuck with static configurations, I'd like to get as well rounded a mix of suits as possible. Currently, I already have one Centurion, one Helios (with a targeting array, so a Team Leader type), and three Fireknives. Here's what I'm thinking so far:

3 Deathrain (having twin-linked missile pods is rarely a bad thing)
3 Firestorm (good against GEq armies, and still decent against MEq)
1 Helios (another tank killer is not a bad thing)

That leaves two more suits. I'm tempted to make one into a Ninja'O-style CC suit. The remaining suit? Maybe another commander type, or maybe just an oddball monat configuration.

Any suggestions? What should I do with my 9 suits?

why not just not glue them in so you can still change them? or you could drill a hole into the suit, and attach a rod to the weapon that will hold it there... untell you can get magnets agian ;D

As nice as the flexibility afforded by magnet-modding is, I also have the realization that there's only a few suit configurations that I'm likely to be using with any frequency - which, for example, is why I'm not too broken up about my Fireknives not being magnet-modded. It's a good, all-around configuration to keep around. Deathrains and Firestorms, I can see wanting to always have available, so making those permanent choices doesn't bother me.

There's also the fact that, outside of ordering bits from a 3rd-party vendor, I'm limited to what weapons are in the box. With 9 missile pods, for example, 3 Deathrains and 3 Firestorms use those up nicely.

My only possible concern is if I decide to run some of these suits as an HQ Bodyguard retinue, and which configs would be optimal for that (if, say, I decided to go Farsight Enclave). Of course, then I can just run whatever, throw on some HWMLs, and go nuts.

i would go pure fire knife, these can hold up and even annihilate any opposition really and when supported by FireWarrior support, they can take on most types of enemy.

While the Fireknife is a good all-purpose suit, I'm tempted to hedge my bets and make a wider array, considering that some suits (Firestorm, for example) do better against GEq armies and can perform close to Fireknives against MEq armies.

Use the large flat magnets. You can get a pretty large swathe of magnetic sheet for cheap. Only cut what you need and you'll have a large, non-chokeable chunk. Small parts can be swallowed (of course), but you obviously have small model parts if you play warhammer.

Magnets are an intresting idea, but it screams "POWER GAMER" at me, for lack of better words. The Ability to change your weapons between games would just seem like you are customising your army against another. which to me, is Power gaming. I am all for finding out which the most effective combo of weapons is, but i would just proxy them until i was finished and then stick the weapons on.

That's a naive way of looking at things with regards to other players. What if a player liked playing rpgish themed campaigns? Or they were trying to configure the best possible suit for a newly designed army they hadn't tested?

Don't pidgeonhole other players before you get a chance to know them. It can lose you potential friends if they see that kind of activity.
