Default O'shovah rules (old codex)

well i recently have gotten the newer of the 2 codexs and really i dont like the new rules of O'shovah as i allways used his ork fighter rules at 5 pts extra per model where i could increase WS and 1 other characteristic.

But now the troops and battlesuits just have better structure in the newer codex

so the question is, can i use rules of the old O'shovah but then use the rules form everything else in the new codex for every other unit?

Firstly mate, it was I not another characteristic it was an upgrade for WS+I. Bummer really, getting to choose one to up by one point would be awsome.

Secondly, no. You'd have to use the new book. Its most recent and to be honest they are better rules for him. Though if you really wanted to I suppose you could in friendly games, opponent permission of course but I used Aun'shi recently with opponents permission, Don't know why I did. Think I just found my model laying about and felt sorry for it being removed from the codex.

oh ok bugger and dam i wish they were more accurate with what they are meaning. lol this reminds me of trying to find grey knights special rules on page 10 when i 1st got the codex just to realise it was a typo and yer it was page 8.

but yer i found his older ones better also due to the BS being higher. well at i wish they would bloody get the rules right for these bloody guys as anyways i reckon if they bloody do close combat all the time they should benefit from their expertise but no they get nothing other than just when they vs orks only.

so its like one day against some orks they have some WS then all the sudden some marines come in and they get hit with some mental condition where they forget how to fight?
