Default Seeker missles and Victory points

Yesterday I lost a Devil fish after firing its seeker missiles, and I was thinking wouldn't it be more accurate to have the seeker missiles only count towards victory points if they were still attached? I mean nothing else in the game that you pay points for is expendable ammunition except seeker missiles. Why should the enemy get points for weapons he didn't destroy?

Well, technically he did destroy it. Just at the cost of one of his units. ;D

VP's are an arbitrary system any way.
Um, Hunter-killer Missiles aren't expendable one use only ammo?
Tyranid Spore mine clusters (The FA units).
Necron solar pulse (okay, not a weapon per se, but still one use only.)
I think you get the general idea.

Yea, I think something should be done to exclude some of those upgrades. Otherwise seeker toting piranha are just 80pt VP Pinata's for our opponents, even if they successfully deliver their payload.
