Default Fusion buster conversion

hey guys, im currently working on some conversions for the weapons for my battlesuits, just to make them a bit more unique, tho im a bit suck with ideas for fusion busters, after a bit of thinking this is what i came up with for one to count a a twin linked fusion buster, plus mounting a shield generator on the other arm.

take note im not too great working with green stuff, so im jsut starting with a few basic conversions.

any ideas/comments?

Interesting design there, only gimmick I can see is that the fusion from the lower barrel may melt the upper barrel, but It would add some variation to your army and wouldn't need much greenstuff.
Should really be on one of the Hobby Boards though.

You shouldn't really need too much greenstuff for this, other than possibly for the cables - just hack off the hand, replace it with the other fusion blaster, and stick a cut-down fusion blaster under it. you can put the other ammo flask on the top as well, might look better. And no, I don't think that the bottom barrel would melt the top one. BTW, drones make for great shield generators when mounted on the arm.

Looks good, but looks more like a twin-linked one :P

i like the idea, how do you think i should do it? pointing in the opposite direction to the one that is allready there?
as for the cables im probably gonna use gutar wires, they seem rather effective, and ive got a couple of broken ones that i can use

thanks for the help/ideas and comments

just my opinion but i think you should mount the other one above the first one, at the same angle, so that they are spread out just a bit to keep them from touching ;D

I was planning on making a twin link, by putting two side by side, then modelling a but-stock and a koweling to make it look like a large rifle for the suit to carry like a big fusion shot-gun. but I got lazy and decided against it :P

might be an idea for you though.

I like the Idea, I wanted to do something similar with the plasma only side by side. I can see your idea being a little big top to bottom and as such a little clumsy for a crisis IMO. Though don't hold me against that, I dont have to bits at hand to have a fiddle and see. Would look awsome if it worked.
