Default scoring unit with ejection system?

I checked around the forums and couldn't find anything pertaining to this exactly. Is there any way of making the ejected crisis suit pilot count as a scoring unit? I know that one of the great things about the ejection system is for denying the enemy victory points. I was thinking that it might Also be a great way to hold an objective for just a little longer, but I don't know if it can ever count as a scoring model. I would usually be able to look this up but my brother loaned our rule book to a friend. The codex is a little vague about the entire thing and I can't entirely remember what passes for scoring.

The way I read the codex, and the rule book, if the suit is a Monat(ie elite choice, and a scoring unit before ejecting)-yes. If its your comander(ie Independent Character)- no, never was a scoring unit in the first place. This may lead to a disagreement in an actual game, and may be seen as a bit of a cheap trick.

as said by Sgs, you can only do this if it came from a crisis shas, vre, not an independent character. i actually won a game by ejecting out of the suit, killing the lone marine guarding it with his pulse pistol and won by claiming the objective. After this that player was always sure to kill the unit with insta kill weapons, but when it works, its really funny

I see. Thanks a lot. I figured that it would count as a scoring unit but I seemed kind of odd to take a couple wound, loose one model, and replace it with another much weaker one and still allow it to be considered scoring.

Note that this will only ever work with a Monat, of course, because any form of unit with the Vre will mean he is under 50% and therefore no longer scoring, I believe.

Or a two man team. One model left out of the original two is not below half.

that is not possible.

The ejection system can only be taken by a monat suit or a commander without bodyguards. It it,s a multi suit team it is impossible to take the ejection system.
