Okay I kinda need help naming my Shas'o and my ethereal.

My army is from Au'taal.

I want to base my names off of their actions.

My Shas'o always has missile pods and wears heavy armor. He always fights on the front lines.

My ethereal usally has a honour gaurd. He also has an hounour blade. My Ethereal prefers to stay in the back of my army.

So... can you guys think of any good names for my commander and ethereal?

Do you want a Tau name that translates into some thing cool? Or just a name?

My commanders go by Shas'O'range

, and Shas'el'tetsubo (which is sort of a Japanese mace). TBH I think names that most people can recognize are better. Names like Shas'O'kai'fon'do will probably just draw blank stares from other players.

Vesa: Meaning; “Helper”
Elan: Meanings; ‘Strong’ or ‘Sturdy’ or ‘Support’

For your Xv8 I'd use the above but this would be me as he like the front so he is "Support-full", not to add he is heavy set with the thicker armour he uses. Now which leads me to "helper"
seeing he is heavy set and always fights with the Tau commrads on the front he is seen as useful. So the name could be justified as Useful Support.

So the name in full would be,Shas'o'Au'Taal'Vesa'Elan-
OR Shas'o'Au'Taal'Elan'Vessa (supportfull helper)

And as for short being Shas'o'Elan'Vessa OR Shas'o'Vessa'Elan. (which I seem to like the second better.)
More then willing to help with more of it!!

Mine translates into "Commander Dusk-Eyes". I built the army as a "night fighting" squad. Painted them up with a snow forest theme but gave all the vehicles camo as if they were fighting at night (blue/green/grey on top, black on bottom).

I would go with a name that supports your theme as well as his actions. What is your paint scheme?

Well... Like I said my paint scheme is Au'taal which is a lush, green, verdent, resort world. It is said that my army is considered lazy, but I am aiming to have my army prove them wrong. So that is what I am basing it off of.

I like the name idea thanks Shas. But I was kinda aiming for a more combat oriented name because he is always in the frontlines.
