I have 12 of them that I use in friendly games sometimes.
I either use them as 2 very cheap, 6 man markerlight bases or I give them EMP grenades and send them armor hunting. THey really are fun and I wish they would have been included in codex: Tau Empire.

I used to use my space marines as a substitute for them in non-public games.

I have a few squads of them, but I don't count them as being part of my regular army.

All the time, in fact I have no less then 3-4 squads (thank you ethereal honor guard not taking a slot!)
They are ok for adding bodies, can be customized to serve as markerlight supporters for missile strikes or coodinating a firewarrior rapid fire event. You can place them in front of a weaker team (such as pathfinders) and absorb some shots. or you can even deploy them on flanks, and provide security. I wrote an article detailing further uses, should be on the 2-3rd page of this tau forum. |

I never leave the house without 'em! Gue'vesa are great, flexible units that can be useful in just about any situation. I strongly recommend them for everyone!

I have twenty Gue'vesa and i'm still going to buy more. When I play against a Guard player in a campain I like to use some house rules that go along the lines of
2. Add d3 Gue'vesa in case of a major victory.[/list]
