To my knowledge Yes and no.

A regular Shas'ui can only have 3 system (support system or weapon) 1 for each hardpoint.
A shas'ui upgraded to team leader can take hard wired option on top of the base 3 system.
A shas'vre can take hard wired system on top of the base 3 system.

access to battle suit wargear items, that should solve it. (hardwired right?)

Does the shas`ui have that?

otherwise support systems and weapons.

Battlesuit-wearing Shas'ui can't. However, the Fire Warrior Shas'ui can.

Those are "Hard-point" options. Hard-wired options don't take up these 3 spaces.

A standard XV8 Battlesuit only has access to 3 items in total, from either the Weapon Systems or Support systems list.

It can be upgraded to have access to the Battlesuit Wargear Items list (third column of the list) - which includes Hard-wired items - of which it can have up to 100 points worth, following the restrictions as detailed in the codex. A crisis suit can be upgraded to Team Leader or Shas'vre, giving it access to the Wargear list.

Note: There are no restrictions on the number of hard-wired systems you can take, unlike the old codex - aside from not duplicating them and not exceeding the Wargear points limit.

well theres

wargear
support systems
and weapon systems

weapon systems
and support systems generally take up slots

wargear is assumed to be built in (if i got that right)

though his question was very broad, I had assumed he meant wargear options, and hardwired on top of that (hard wired options should be in wargear)
