Default Orca: need to scale measurements

Hello all Orca fans, I'm looking for the too scale measurements, (length width height), of the Orca, FW had them posted at one time, but I can't find them now. I can approximate them from IA3 but don't know how to convert the true numbers on the Departmento Analyticus Record into 40K scale, I could if I know how tall a FW was, does any one know it off hand or where I kind find it. Planning on building a more user friendly model at a 10th of the cost, will be outer shell only but will be able to adjust engines angle and belly turret.

A FW, iirc, is ~1.75" fully upright.
Also, remember that most 40k vehicles are not true to the scale of the miniatures, and should be about 25-33% larger than they actually are.

Ravager Zero, Thanks for the info hope you re read this post as it's directed to you

1) Where did you find this info.

2) What is iirc ?

3) Is that 1.75m tall

4) So if FW is this tall 1.75, The Orca is this tall 3.25m by the IA3, so if I figure 2 FW are 3.5m x .25 = 4.37m for the total height of the the Orca for scale purpose correct.

1,75" means 1.75 INCH, not metres.

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly.

1) With a measuring tape.
3) Fluffwise, a FW's height varies between 1.6-1.9 metres, the average being about 1.8 (there is no height added for armour, as armour is mostly form fitting.).
4) I'm not too sure on the up/down-scaling with Forgeworld vehicles. I think they use a 1:1 scale ratio, rather than the 1:0.8 (or whatever) GW uses.
I'd go with something in the 3.25-3.75 metre range for height.

Hope that helps ya out.
